Q: What do I need to qualify?
A: To qualify for a loan with Northcash, we require:
• You are at least 18 years of age
• You are a citizen of the United States of America
• You do NOT reside in Arkansas, California, Georgia, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia
• You are not a member of the military
• You are not a spouse or dependent of a member of the military
• You have a source of regular income that meets our minimum monthly net income requirement
• You have a checking account that is ACH (Automatic Clearing House) accessible. If you are unsure if your bank account is ACH accessible please contact your financial institution.
Q: Can I get a loan from Northcash if I am a member of the military?
A: Military personnel and their dependents are NOT eligible for a Northcash loan.
Q: How do I know if this loan is a good fit for my situation?
A: This type of loan is NOT a good fit if:
• Your intention is to use your loan as a long term solution for your financial needs
• You plan to use your loan to consolidate other debts.
• You are not confident that you'll be able to repay your loan by the due date.
Q: How is a Northcash loan different from other types of loans?
A: Northcash loans, also referred to as personal loans, or installment loans, are a means for consumers to get quicker access to a relatively small amount of money at a time to help with short-term needs. The loan amount is generally less than a typical bank loan, between $100 and $1500, and there is a quicker approval process to receive your money. The entire process is handled online and over the phone.
Q: How much money can I borrow?
A: Loan amounts are determined by the information provided on your application and any available payment history. New customers may qualify for loans ranging from $400-$1000, while returning customers may qualify for loans up to $1500.
Q: What is my minimum loan term?
A: Terms vary from a minimum of 3 months to a maximum of 18 months, depending on your loan amount and your ability to make a specific payment amount each due date. You are able to make additional payments, as well as pay off your loan at any time without penalty by contacting Customer Care at least 3 business days prior to your next due date.
Q: What is the APR on the loan?
A: The annual percentage rate (APR) varies depending on the terms of your loan as well as your payment history. The maximum APR of any Northcash loan is 795% and it is important to note that these loans are not intended to be used as a long-term financial solution or to supplement limited income. These loans can offer emergency relief if you are short on money and need funds to cover an urgent expense until you receive your next pay check. Q: How do I apply for a loan?
A: New customers must go to the Apply Now
page and fill out our online application. After you press submit you will be notified if your application has been pre-approved within a few seconds. If you are a returning customer, you can log in to take advantage of our express application
Q: When will I know if I’ve been approved?
A: You will receive a notice indicating if you have been pre-approved for a loan within seconds of submitting your application. If you do not receive this message, please contact Customer Care at 1-855-333-6570
Q: I have been pre-approved, what now?
A: If your application was pre-approved, call us at 1-855-333-6570
to verify the information provided in your application with one of our Customer Care Specialists.
To expedite the process please have the following ready prior to your call:
• Driver’s License/State ID
• Banking Information
• Income Information
• Access to the Internet
Q: Why do you need my bank account information?
A: Northcash requires your banking information in order to deposit your funds directly into your account as soon as the next business day through Automatic Clearing House (ACH). As an even quicker alternative, our same day wire transfer service may be available. There is an additional fee for the wire transfer service, $12 where available.
Q: Does Northcash require a credit check?
A:Northcash does not check your credit through the three major credit reporting bureaus. Northcash may obtain a consumer report from an alternative credit reporting agency.
Q: Do I need to fax any documents?
A: In some cases, we need some additional information to process your loan application. If you are asked to send in copies of your most recent bank statements or other documents, you can fax them to us.
Q: When and how will I receive my loan?
A: After finalizing your loan, the funds are generally direct deposited into the bank account listed on your application by the end of the next business day, depending on your bank requirements. If you need money sooner, our wire transfer service may be available at a cost of $12. Contact our Customer Care Team at 1-855-333-6570

Q: Can I have more than one loan simultaneously?
A: Northcash only permits one active loan at a time. You are, however, eligible to borrow again following your repayment of your current loan. We also offer returning customers an express application which will save you time when applying for your next loan.
Q: When I pay off my Northcash loan, how soon can I borrow another?
A: You’ll be eligible for a new loan as soon as your last payment clears – which could take your bank up to five business days to confirm. Borrowing a second time, you’ll enjoy an even simpler loan process when you login as a returning customer.
Q: My spouse and I share a bank account, can we each take out a loan?
A: Each bank account, whether an individual or a joint account, is only able to have one active loan at a time.
Q: How do I cancel a loan request?
A: In certain circumstances you may be able to cancel your loan agreement with us without incurring costs or finance charges. To do so, please call us at 1-855-333-6570
, and provide us written notice of your wish to cancel your loan agreement by email at firstname.lastname@example.org
, or by fax at 1-888-454-2368.
This must be done either prior to disbursement, or by no later than 5pm EST of the next business day immediately following the date on which your loan was deposited.
Your right to cancel your loan only applies in one of two situations:
1. The loan has not yet been funded, or
2. If the loan has been funded, the funds are returned to Northcash as explained in your loan agreement.
Q: When is my loan payment due?
A: All payments will be processed on the due dates as set out in the terms of your loan agreement. If the situation arises that funds will not be available in your account, please contact us three business days prior to the due date at 1-855-333-6570
. A $30 non-sufficient funds (NSF) charge will be processed if payment is not received by the due date, and you may also be subject to additional fees.
Q: What happens if my due date falls on a holiday?
A: Your normal payment will be processed on the first business day following the holiday. If you would prefer to have the payment processed the day before the holiday, please call us at least 3 business days before your scheduled payment date.
Q: How can I view my payment history, access my current balance or make changes to my account?
A: Our Customer Care Team is available at 1-855-333-6570
for any inquiries into your balance, payment history or to make changes to your account or loan. You can also Log In to your self-service
account at any time to view loan information.
In order to process changes to your next payment, we require at least 3 business day notice prior to your next due date.
Please note that Northcash is not able to process change requests online, however you are able to view your current loan agreement online.
Q: How do I update my Northcash account information?

Q: What happens if I can’t remember my account login information?
A: If you're having difficulty recalling your login details after being conditionally approved for a loan, we set your login to be the last four digits of your Social Security Number (SSN) and the email address that you listed on your application. Click here

Q: How do I repay my loan?
A: For your convenience, Northcash offers two methods of payment:
• Automatic withdrawal from your checking account using an Automatic Clearing House (ACH) direct debit system each due date.
• By mail a Money Order, Cashiers Check or Certified Check to the address listed below no later than 5 business days prior to your due date to ensure it is received on time.

Please be advised that if you don't have enough in your account to cover the full payment amount owed, or if your payment is late, you will be charged a $30 NSF (non-sufficient funds) fee as well as a $30 late fee after 5 days for each missed payment.
Please note: By mailing a Money Order, Cashiers Check, or Certified Check. You are responsible for ensuring that we receive your payment by your due date, so please ensure that you allow sufficient time for delivery of your payment.
